Q.  Should I bring my pet's food?

A.  This really depends on your dog.  Most dogs do better if they are fed a consistent diet.  Since your dog will be going through the change of being away from you and being in an unfamiliar place, it is usually better to keep their diet consistent.  We do provide food if you choose not to bring yours.

Q.  Should I bring my pet's bed and blanket?

A.  Anything you do to keep your dog comfortable will help provide an easier transition while your dog is away.  Most dogs find great comfort in having familiar items with them when they are staying at our kennel. We do provide bedding and blankets if you choose not to bring yours.

Q.  Should I bring toys for my pet?

A.  Most dogs will welcome having a familiar toy from home to keep them occupied.

Q.  Will you give my pet their medications?

A.  Yes, we will be happy to administer medications.  A $1.00 charge/dose may be charged depending on how easily your pet takes the medication.

Q.  Which vaccinations do you require?

A.  We require Rabies, Bordatella (Kennel Cough) and Distemper vaccinations.  Please bring your vacination record with you when you drop off your pet.  If you do not have your vaccination record we can call your vet to confirm vaccinations.

Q.  What if I need to pick up my pet outside of your posted hours?

A.  Our office hours provide the pets at the kennel with necessary quiet time.  Inadequate down-time can cause a variety of problems including nervousness, destructive behaviour, poor appetite and excessive shedding.  Our rest periods are crucial to maintaining a stress-free environment.
